Hyperon is a -48 Vdc, up to 10,800 Adc system that supplies a complete
solution for central offices, MTSO's, Data centers, Gateway switching centers, regional switching
centers and any other -48Vdc high power applications. It features internal bay to bay buswork,
welded frame structure, Series 100 controller and C&D's unique cable trough providing extra
cabling space for ease of installing and maintenance. (Note: The PDF alone can supply up to 6,000
amps of distribution. However, maximum distribution for the system (PDF/SDF's combined) is
rated for 10,800 Amps) |

with List 1 or 3, the SDF is mechanically identical to the PDF

1, MAX is 2 SDF; with List 3 MAX is 1 SDF; List A1 includes the required
splice kit from the SDF to the next SDF) |

Hyperon 1,200 amp rated rectifier bay, with an integrated 10,800 amp bay
to bay bus structure supporting up to 6 -48 volt 200amp switchmode
rectifiers, expandable to 54. Utilizes splice plates to connect to the
PDF & SDF. The integrated bus includes landings for up to four battery
strings. (List B1 includes the required splice kit from Rectifier bay to
Rectifier bay) |

Hyperon 2,400 amp rated TPL distribution panels are designed for the
Hyperon PDF and SDF distribution frames. Supports up to (6) TPL fuses
ranging from 200-600 amps. includes individual shunts per fuse, a front
access door to the load cable landings, supporting up to two 1000MCM
lugs per position (option available for (4) landings). GMT fuse for FA
detection with individual LED's. Order up to (3) distribution panels per
PDF or SDF frame. |

The BDFB is the secondary distribution feed from the PDF & SDF frames to
power the customers equipment. |
|
The BDFB bays are stand-alone equipment with their own monitoring
options, generally located at the end |

of the equipment line ups. Available in 2, 4 or 6 sections per bays.
Distribution options include AM1 breakers |
|
or TPS fuses. A & B feeds, 24 positions per section for a total of 144
positions per BDFB. Order up to (3) |

frame. input/output connections for daisy chaining the BDFB and GMT fuse
alarms. cable routing brackets to support the input cables. (Top feed) |

bolt-in breaker kits. The panel also includes FA indicators for A & B
sections, ground return landings that are paired with the loads and an
option for lockable doors. Order up to (3) distribution panels per BDFB
frame. |

Hyperon BDFB frames. Supports up to (24) TPS fuses per section, for a
total of (48) per panel, ranging from 3-70 amps. Includes individual

fuse. The panel also includes FA indicators for A & B sections, ground
return landings that are paired with the loads and an option for
lockable doors. Order up to (3) distribution panels per BDFB frame.

Hyperon Co-Location distribution panel is a general purpose 500 amp
rated AM1 distribution panel, mounts in a 23" relay rack. Supports up to
(10) AM1 breakers per section, for a total of (20) per panel, ranging
from 5-100 amps. Includes individual shunts per section. A front access
door allows for installation of bolt-in breaker kits and access to the
ground returns. The panel includes FA indicators for A & B sections,
ground return bus, digital meter for voltage, current and wattage usage,
hi current thresholds. supports 2-hole lugs for loads and returns |
